Travel Program

The highlight of our camp sessions is the Travel Week.  We take the campers on an all inclusive travel experience where they get to enjoy and live with the rhythm and flow of Jewish life while touring world famous destinations.  The trip destinations range from the California Coast, to the mountains of Colorado, and the skyscrapers of New York City.

We believe a summer is a golden opportunity for children and young teens to explore their budding intellectual capabilities in discovering Judaism while at the same time having a tremendous amount of fun.
A summer at Chabad of Mount Olympus’s CGI ATP(Camp Gan Israel Adventure & Travel Summer Program) helps the campers understand more about what being Jewish means to them. Children come away with a new perspective on who they are and what their heritage is about.

Sports and athletic activities play first base in camp life. At CGI ATP
, campers participate in various sports, receive expert coaching and enjoy a wide array of recreational activities. Swimming and water sports are delightful elements of the camp schedule. All aquatic activities are under careful supervision of experienced and certified Red Cross lifeguards and instructors.

Our unique focus is in finding the best trips and activities for our campers ranging from amusement parks and paintball shooting to surfing lessons and white water rafting.   We also have special activities such as crafts, drama, martial arts, and sporting competitions.

Yes, we actually make learning fun! CGI ATP offers daily Hebrew lessons for beginners to advanced levels, by our well-trained professional Hebrew instructors. For campers in their twelfth and thirteenth years, special Bar/Bat Mitzvah lessons are offered. No previous Jewish education is necessary for Chabad of Mount Olympus’s CGI ATP. Campers come from all level of Jewish observance.

In addition, we have hands on interactive Judaic activities such as Tefillin and Tzitzis making workshops, challah baking, and Kosher hunts.

We serve fresh, nutritious and delectable kosher meals during camp hours.  We also eat out at various kosher restaurants and pizza shops.

Your children’s safety is of paramount importance to us.  All staff members receive training in safety guidelines and practices. Everyone working at the camp, regardless of their position, must share our commitment to putting children’s safety first.

A great staff can make a child’s summer.
A child away from home needs to trust the staff and sense their compassion and competence. The
CGI ATP staff members are hand picked for their caring and dedication.
They sincerely want to see the campers enjoy a fun and meaningful summer. The strong bond that develops with the campers often extends well past the summer’s end.
Our staff is especially trained in techniques for self improvement and developing social skills. The one-on-one relationship formed with our staff members provides a strong backbone in child development. Our number of campers is kept to a minimum to ensure they receive maximum attention and care.

Our last year’s campers can’t wait to join this year’s program!  Enroll your child/children.  They are guaranteed to have an experience of a lifetime!
